Tajweed, taught by recitation

Online Tajweed classes with live correction

You recite; a certified teacher listens and corrects your pronunciation as you go. Tajweed is learned by being heard — not by memorising rules alone — and in a one-to-one class, every word is heard.

Why one-to-one matters for Tajweed

In a group, a teacher hears a fraction of what each student reads. In a private class, your teacher hears all of it — every makhraj, every ghunnah, every madd — and corrects it the moment it happens, before it becomes a habit.

Live pronunciation correction

Mistakes are corrected as you read, not marked afterwards.

Rules applied, not just explained

Each rule is taught where it appears in your recitation.

Your pace

Stay on a rule until it's natural. Move on when it is.

Certified teachers, male and female

Common questions

Do I need to read Arabic fluently before starting Tajweed?

No. If you're still building reading fluency, your teacher will work on both together. Many students start Tajweed while still improving their reading.

How is Tajweed taught online?

You recite over a live video call and your teacher corrects your pronunciation as you read, exactly as they would sitting beside you.

Can I request a female Tajweed teacher?

Yes. We have male and female certified teachers.
