Lesson times that fit British routines

The UK sits just two hours behind our teachers, which makes it the easiest schedule we work with: the after-school slot, the after-dinner slot and the weekend morning are all comfortably inside the teacher's day. You choose the days, the time and the length — 30, 45 or 60 minutes — and you can move a lesson when the week changes.

After school

The 4pm-to-6pm window is the most requested by families in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bradford and Leicester.

Evenings

Later in the evening suits older students and working adults; still well within our teachers' hours.

Weekend mornings

A calm Saturday or Sunday slot works well for younger children and for parents learning themselves.

Alongside madrasah

Many families use one-to-one lessons to reinforce weekend madrasah — a private hour where the whole lesson is your child's.

Certified teachers, male or female

Every teacher is certified. British families frequently ask for a female teacher for their daughters, or a male teacher for their sons, and we arrange that at the trial. You keep the same teacher each week, so they know your child's reading and exactly where the last lesson ended.

What you can study

Most families begin with Quran reading and build from there. Children usually continue to Tajweed and then memorisation; adults choose the goal that matters to them, and many add Arabic so that recitation becomes understanding.

What families say

In their own words

Thousands of students have learned with our teachers. Here is some of what their families have told us — unedited.

Teachers are very friendly and engaging. Both my 10 and 8-year-old boys love it!
Our older son is in college but he still loves to take classes with his teacher.
The best part is we could change the lesson time as per our convenience.

Common questions

Do you teach in UK time?

Yes. You choose the time in UK time — GMT or BST, we handle the change — and it stays fixed on your clock. Teachers are available 24/7, and UK afternoons and evenings fall comfortably within their day.

Are lessons available after school and at weekends?

Yes. After school on weekdays and weekend mornings are the two most popular slots for British families; evenings suit older students and adults.

Can we choose a male or female teacher?

Yes. All teachers are certified, and you can request a male or a female teacher when you book the free trial.

Can this work alongside weekend madrasah?

Yes. Many families use a one-to-one lesson during the week to reinforce what their child covers at madrasah — private attention on exactly what they find hard.

Can an adult beginner start from the basics?

Yes. Your teacher starts with the Arabic letters and sounds and builds reading step by step, privately. No prior knowledge is needed.
